Your Houston garage holds the heat, the humidity and everything that won't fit in the house. Our garage floor coating turns that bare slab into a bright, wipe-clean floor that stands up to hot tires. In Houston, your estimate happens by phone. We call with a few quick questions, then our estimator gives you your price.
Task Force Garage installs full-flake garage floor coatings across the Houston area. We diamond-grind your slab, fill the cracks, lay a polyurea base coat covered in vinyl flake and seal it with a clear polyaspartic topcoat. Your estimate is free and happens over the phone, and the floor carries a lifetime adhesion warranty.
Most garages take one working day. If your slab needs our moisture barrier primer, plan on two, because the primer cures overnight. You can walk on the floor the next day and park on it after 72 hours.
Looking for epoxy garage floors in Houston? What we install is the step up from epoxy. It has the same prep and the same flake look, and it cures faster, flexes as your slab moves and won't yellow in the sun. Your car is back in three days instead of a week.
Want to see a color first? Try one on a photo of your own garage with our floor preview, then have it handy for the call.

Nobody has to drive across town to measure your garage. What sets your price is how big the floor is, what shape it's in and what you want on it, and you can tell us all of that from your kitchen.
About two minutes on our quote form. Or call (206) 895-7444 and skip it.

Usually within minutes during the day. Send it late at night and we call the next morning. On Sundays our calls start at noon.

Two cars or three? Cracks, stains or old paint? Has it ever flooded? A couple of photos help. Text them to (206) 895-7444.

Our estimator gives you the number over the phone. The written quote follows by email, to sign when you're ready.

Pull in after an hour on the Katy Freeway in August and your tires are hot. Hot enough to soften cheap epoxy and garage floor paint, which is how kit floors end up peeling in the tire lanes. Our clear polyaspartic topcoat, over a diamond-ground slab, stays put.
Houston gets about 100 days a year at 90 degrees or more, and the air rarely dries out. On a muggy morning, warm air can bead up on a slab that stayed cool overnight. Bare concrete soaks that water in. On our floor it sits on top, a squeegee clears it, and the anti-slip grit keeps your footing.
Does your garage face west? With the door up, the afternoon sun bakes the same strip of floor every day, and epoxy tends to yellow there. Our topcoat holds its color, so that strip still matches the rest of your floor years from now.

Most of the Houston area sits on deep clay that swells after a wet spell and shrinks in a dry summer. Your slab rides on top of all that. It's why so many garages here have a crack running from the door toward the back wall, and why it can look wider by the end of a dry August.
Before any coating goes down, our crew fills every crack and control joint and grinds it flush. The polyurea base coat then flexes with the small seasonal movement that cracks a rigid epoxy floor right along with the slab.
One honest warning. If one side of a crack sits higher than the other, or the crack keeps getting wider, call a foundation company first. A coating makes a floor look great, but it can't hold a moving slab still. We'd rather tell you that on the phone than after the install.

Houston homes almost never have a basement, so your garage does that job too. Here's what that asks of the floor, and what ours does about it.
From June to November, the generator, the gas cans and the cases of water live out here. Spilled gas and oil wipe off our topcoat instead of soaking in.
If your garage has ever taken water, tell us on the call. Mud and silt hose off a coated floor, and our crew checks the slab is dry before any coating goes down.
Tires come home from the freeway hot, and a full-size truck adds the weight. Together they lift paint and thin kits. A ground slab under a polyaspartic topcoat holds up to both.
A floor that stops shedding dust turns the garage into a home gym, a workbench or the place the kids' bikes live. Sweat and spills wipe right up.
Close in, West University and Bellaire are full of rebuilt homes, and plenty in Bellaire were raised after Harvey. Memorial mixes 1950s ranch houses on wooded lots with the big new homes that replaced them. Out west, Katy and Cypress keep adding three-car garages with bare builder slabs, and up north in The Woodlands the pines dust every garage yellow each spring.

Here's a two-car garage on a dry slab, start to finish. A slab that needs the moisture barrier runs the same steps over two days.
You empty the garage the night before. In the morning our crew meter-tests the slab for moisture, marks the cracks and tapes the walls.
Diamond grinders open the surface of the whole slab, with the edges done by hand and the dust vacuumed as they go. Cracks and joints are filled and ground flush.
If the meter reads high, the barrier primer goes onto the bare concrete and cures overnight. The rest of the work waits for morning.
The polyurea base goes down, and the crew broadcasts flake into it until no base shows. That full coverage hides the small flaws in older concrete.
Loose flake is scraped and vacuumed, then the clear polyaspartic topcoat goes on with anti-slip grit. Walk on it tomorrow, and park on it in 72 hours.

Your price depends on the size of the garage, the cracks to fill, any old paint or epoxy to grind off, and the package you choose. A three-car garage costs more in total but less per square foot, because the setup is the same. You'll hear your exact number on the phone, then get it in writing by email.
Yes. Your price comes from the size and condition of the floor, and you can tell us both. We'll ask how many cars it holds and about cracks, stains, old coatings and any flooding. If you can, text a couple of photos to (206) 895-7444. The price only changes if the garage turns out different from what we talked about, and you'd hear that before any work starts.
We install the step up from an epoxy garage floor: a polyurea base coat and a clear polyaspartic topcoat with the same full-flake look. Next to plain epoxy, your floor cures in hours instead of days, flexes as the slab moves and won't yellow where the sun hits it. You're parking on it in three days instead of about a week.
Hot tires are what lift garage floor paint and thin epoxy kits: the heat softens them and the tire pulls them up. Our clear polyaspartic topcoat is made for that heat, and the whole system bonds to a diamond-ground slab instead of a smooth one. It won't yellow in the afternoon sun, either.
Usually, yes. Our crew fills cracks and control joints and grinds them flush, and the flexible polyurea base handles normal seasonal movement. If one side of a crack sits higher than the other or the crack keeps widening, the slab is still moving. Have a foundation company look first. We'll tell you the same thing on the call.
That's warm, muggy air meeting a slab that stayed cool overnight, the way a glass of ice water sweats. A coating won't change the weather, but on our floor the water beads on top instead of soaking in, and the anti-slip grit keeps your footing. A fan or a dehumidifier helps on the worst days. Water coming up from under the slab is a different problem, and that's what our moisture barrier primer is for.
Yes. We also cover Bellaire, West University, Memorial, Cypress, Spring, Pearland and the neighborhoods in between. If you're not sure about your street, call (206) 895-7444 and ask. The estimate happens on the phone, so it only takes a minute to find out.
Give a new slab about four weeks to cure first. After that, a bare builder slab is about the easiest floor there is to coat, with no old paint and few stains, just a grind and the system. Call when you close. We can price it then and line up a date for after the four weeks are up.
