Goodlettsville spans two counties, and your garage could date from any decade since the 1950s. That's why our garage floor coating starts with a moisture test and a diamond grind before the flake floor goes down. Every floor carries a lifetime adhesion warranty, and the estimate at your home is free.
Your new floor goes down in layers. We diamond-grind the slab and fill the cracks and joints. Then come a polyurea base coat, a full broadcast of vinyl flake and a clear polyaspartic topcoat with grit, so wet shoes don't slide.
First, though, we take a moisture reading. A high one, or two warning signs, means a barrier primer goes down and cures overnight, which stretches your job to two days. Otherwise it's done in one. You walk on it the next day, and your cars come back after 72 hours.
If you were pricing epoxy flooring in Goodlettsville, think of ours as the step past it. You get the same grind and the same flake look, but it cures in a day, moves with your slab and won't yellow where the sun hits. Epoxy and ours, compared.
Goodlettsville's houses come from every decade, so the prep is where one garage differs from the next. Below, find your side of town and your slab's likely age, and you'll know what your job involves.

The southern half of Goodlettsville is in Davidson County and the northern half is in Sumner. The two halves grew up at different times, and you can see it in the garages. The same floor works on both sides. The prep is what changes.
Live near Mansker Creek, which crosses town on its way to the Cumberland, or Dry Creek along the southern edge? You've probably seen how fast the low streets flood when a storm parks overhead. One night in July 2026, high water closed Long Hollow Pike at Cedar Street and the ramps to I-65.
North and west of town, the ground climbs toward Ridgetop, a few hundred feet higher. If your garage is cut into that slope, soil presses against its sides, and that's the biggest moisture risk a slab can have. We meter it, and the barrier primer goes in when the readings call for it.
If water ever does get into your garage, your coated floor makes the cleanup easy. Mud and water sit on the surface, and a hose and a squeegee push them out the door. Keep in mind that no coating keeps a creek out. Your grading and downspouts do that job.

Goodlettsville never had one big building boom. Homes went up here decade after decade, and no single decade built more than about one in five of them. So the slab under your car could be almost any age, and its age decides what the prep looks like.
If your house went up before the 1980s, we assume there's no plastic sheet under the slab, and there's a fair chance of old paint. Your moisture reading carries extra weight.
Slabs from the '80s and '90s usually show hairline cracks. Some carry a tired sealer or a peeling DIY kit that has to come off before anything new can grip.
Built since 2000? Your slab is probably hard, smooth and sealed by the builder, so the grind is what opens it up. Whatever its age, we'll show you what we find, and every bit of it is itemized on your written estimate.

Three steps, and only the middle one keeps you out of your garage.
We come to your house, measure, take moisture readings and look at the cracks and any old paint. In about 20 minutes you have a written, itemized price, with no push to sign.

We grind and repair the slab, then lay down the polyurea base coat, full flake and the clear topcoat with grit. It's one working day, or two if your barrier primer cures overnight.

Walk on your floor the next morning and park after 72 hours. It keeps hardening for about a week after that, so slide heavy shelves back gently at first.

Use those typical Nashville-area prices as a ballpark while you plan. About one Goodlettsville home in ten is a townhome or other attached home. Live in one with a one-car garage? Expect a higher price per foot, since the setup doesn't shrink with the floor.
Cracks to fill, old paint to grind off, the moisture barrier, cove base and steps also move your number. You get the exact price in writing at the free estimate. The full cost breakdown.

A few of the blends you can pick from, caramel to mist gray. Try one on a photo of your own garage before the estimate, or see every color in the gallery.

Around Nashville, most two-car garages land between about $2,000 and $4,500. A one-car garage, common in Goodlettsville's townhomes, typically runs about $1,200 to $2,600. That works out to more per foot, because a small floor still needs the same setup and prep. Your own number comes in writing after the free estimate. How pricing works.
Not for the floor. We cover both sides of the line, and what changes your job is the slab itself. Older houses on the Davidson side are more likely to have paint to grind off and no plastic under the slab. On the Sumner side, newer homes more often have a builder's sealer that has to come off first.
Yes, it just gets a closer look. When soil sits against the sides of your slab, moisture has more ways in, and that's the biggest single risk we check for. We take meter readings at the estimate, and the barrier primer goes in when they call for it. It also helps to make sure your downspouts and grading send water away from the garage door.
It doesn't rule anything out. A slab in a low spot can read wetter on the meter, and if yours does, the barrier primer goes down first. If the creek ever comes up into your garage, a coated floor keeps the mud and silt on top. Cleanup is a hose and a squeegee instead of scrubbing stains out of bare concrete.
We grind it off instead. Paint is a bond breaker, so anything rolled over it can only stick as well as the paint does. Our prep takes it down to bare concrete, which is common on older floors. If yours has a lot of paint, that can add a little to your price, and you'll see it listed on the written estimate.
We don't put down plain epoxy. Your floor gets the same prep and flake an epoxy floor would, but a polyurea base and a clear polyaspartic topcoat take epoxy's place. It sets in a day instead of several, bends a little as the concrete moves and doesn't yellow in sunlight. You can park on it after three days instead of a week.
Plan on about four days, or five with the moisture barrier. The install takes one working day on a dry slab, or two when the barrier primer has to cure overnight. You can walk on the floor the next morning, but keep your cars out for three days, and go easy dragging heavy things that first week.
All of it, on both sides of the county line. That includes Twelve Stones Crossing, Windsor Green, Emerald Cove, Dry Creek Farms, Copper Creek and Braxton Park at Woodwyn. It also covers the newer streets off Long Hollow Pike and the Rivergate area. Next door, we cover Hendersonville, White House and the rest of the Nashville area, and your estimate is free.
