Ski day over? Your car comes home down I-90 caked in salty slush. Your skis drip, your boots drip, and the kids' bikes already sit on bare concrete. Our garage floor coating gives your slab full flake under a clear topcoat that rinses clean. The estimate is free, at your house.
Task Force Garage installs garage floor coatings in Snoqualmie, WA, on the Ridge and down in the valley. We diamond-grind your slab and repair its cracks and joints. Then come a polyurea base coat, a full broadcast of vinyl flake and a clear polyaspartic topcoat that carries the grit. Your slab is moisture-tested first, and the estimate is free.
Looking at epoxy garage floors in Snoqualmie? What we put down is the upgrade over epoxy. It cures in a cold garage and keeps its color in the sun. You're parking on it after 72 hours, where epoxy usually wants about a week.
That cold-weather cure matters out here. Epoxy wants a warm slab and mostly waits for summer, while your floor can go in during ski season once your slab passes the moisture test. Most people book in spring, so you'll find winter dates easier to get.

Snoqualmie is two towns in one, and which one you live in changes what your garage floor needs. Here's what we look for in each.
The river floods most years, and the county runs a program that raises flood-prone homes in town above flood level. If your garage sits on the valley floor, its slab spends a lot of the year damp, and damp concrete is what pushes a coating off.
So we take more than one reading of your slab and look for the signs: white chalky deposits, dark patches, old paint that's bubbling. A floor below the outside ground line counts too, and so do downspouts emptying by your door. A high reading or two signs means the barrier primer goes down first, and your install takes two days.
A coated floor won't keep river water out. If water ever gets into your garage, cleanup is easier, since silt sits on the topcoat and you can hose it out the door. For flood protection itself, ask the county about its home elevation program.
Our guide to slab moisture explains what the meter tells us about your slab.

Snoqualmie Pass, home of the closest ski area to Seattle, is a short drive up I-90 from your door. Every trip you make up there brings something home.
WSDOT sprays liquid chloride on I-90 before a storm and spreads salt once snow sticks. Your wheel wells carry it home, and it dries into a white crust on bare concrete. On our topcoat, it rinses off.
Your skis, boards and boots melt off in the garage overnight, and so does your roof box. Bare concrete soaks it all up and stains. A coated floor keeps the puddle on top, where a squeegee finishes the job.
Snoqualmie Falls averages more than 50 nights a year at or below freezing. Water that soaks into bare concrete freezes, swells and can flake the surface. A sealed floor keeps that water on top, where you can push it out the door.
The estimate takes 15 to 20 minutes and runs the same way in every garage, Ridge or valley. Here's what we look at, and what each answer means for your price.
Then you get your price in writing, line by line, and no one will push you to sign that day.

Your exact price comes in writing at the estimate. As a guide, here's where most pro-installed floors land across the Seattle area, per our Seattle-area cost guide.
Size comes first. Where yours lands also depends on the crack repair, any old coating to grind off and whether the slab needs the moisture barrier. Valley slabs are likelier to need the barrier than Ridge slabs, so that line can matter most down by the river.
Premium includes the moisture barrier, cove base, coated steps, a flake design session and a one-year checkup at no extra charge. See the Premium details. Every floor we install carries a lifetime adhesion warranty.
If your slab tests dry, Original may be all you need. If it needs the barrier, compare it with Premium, which already includes it. We'll price both so you can choose.

Our crew covers all of Snoqualmie, ZIP 98065, and the valley towns around it. Below, the places we cover, sorted by where they sit. If you don't see yours, give us a call.
Farther west? We also cover Issaquah and Sammamish, so your whole commute is in range.

White road-salt film shows on a dark floor, and mud shows on a light one, so a mid-tone blend hides the most. Compare seven below, then try one on a photo of your own garage or browse the gallery.

Most pro-installed floors across the Seattle area run about $4 to $12 a square foot, which puts a typical two-car garage around $1,600 to $5,800. Your number depends on size, crack repair, any old coating to remove and whether the slab needs the moisture barrier. You'll get it in writing, line by line, at the free estimate.
We install the upgrade over epoxy. You get the same diamond-ground prep and full-flake look, with a polyurea base and a clear polyaspartic topcoat. It cures in a cold garage and won't yellow in sunlight, and your car is back in three days instead of about a week. See how it compares with epoxy.
Yes. The work happens inside, and our system cures in cold weather that stalls epoxy. What matters is your slab. It has to pass the moisture test, and on install day the concrete and air have to stay at least five degrees above the dew point. Since most people book in spring, winter dates are easier to get.
Salt and liquid deicer sit on the clear topcoat, where a rinse takes them off. On bare concrete the same salts soak into the pores and hold water, and freezing nights can flake the surface. Rinse your floor a few times through ski season and squeegee the meltwater out, and it stays clean.
Usually, yes, after a careful moisture read. Older valley slabs often sit without plastic underneath, so we test in several spots and look for chalky deposits and damp patches. A high reading means the barrier primer goes down first and the job takes two days. If river water gets in, cleanup is easier, but the coating is no flood barrier.
If you're staying a few years, usually yes. A slab from the 2000s cured long ago and takes a coating well, and your garage likely sees bikes, ski gear and wet cars every week. Selling soon? Ask us about a simpler option, and we'll price it honestly.
One day on a dry slab, or two when it needs the moisture barrier, because the primer cures overnight. You can walk on it the next day and park on it after three days. The floor keeps hardening for about a week, so go easy dragging heavy things at first.
Task Force Garage does, up on the Ridge, in the historic downtown and out to North Bend, Fall City and Preston. We also cover Issaquah, Sammamish and the rest of King County's Eastside. Every job starts with a free estimate at your house: a moisture test, measurements and a written price.
We come out, measure, test your slab for moisture and leave an itemized price. It's a quick visit, and you decide on your own time.
